Adding the Netgear Nighthawk AX8?

Can we add the Netgear Nighthawk AX8 to our existing Xfinity modern/router, as we have approximately 30 wireless devices in our home and need further wireless coverage?  We have tried the Xfinity pods, but with security cameras, the fluctuations between 2.5 and 5 MHz caused camera downtime.
