Re: Streaming Problems with Xfinity App...and small screen size on Roku

I have an HP laptop. I am having an issue with streaming a movie on Xfinity app. It has a black line in the middle of the screen and the top keeps glitching. It's fine with Netflix, Amazon prime, Vudu etc. I have spent hours trying to get the issue resolved. Xfinity says it's a device issue but if that's the case then I wouldn't be able to watch other streaming movies from Netflix etc. I can watch regular TV. It's only when I try to stream a movie on Starz or Encore etc. I tried changing the resolution but still same issue. I can't help but feel it's an issue with Xfinity. It worked at one point but not on my smart TV. It's when I called Xfinity about my smart TV that it started glitching on my laptop

this link explains the on-demand issue https://forums.xfinity.com/t5/XFINITY-Stream-Website/Xfinity-Stream-website-known-issue/td-p/3283735

the Roku currently requires for HD that you have an X1 video subscription that includes "HD technology fee" on the bill (may be $10 or $0).  On my bill, it says my plan inlcudes the HD technology fee so I get HD on the Roku devices.
