I can't believe Comcast with all the money they steam from us still uses Flash, the most vulnerable software out there. They are making your computer unsafe just because they don't want to update their code.

flash is currently approved for security. Comcast has posted that by the end of java support (dec 31, 2020) it will be replace. note that flash is not used for the video, only used to verify secure path for HD video as required for enforcement of HDCP in streams.

You keep posting this as if it makes using Flash OK. It doesn't. As long as Comcast requires Flash, for WHATEVER PURPOSE, they are making customer's systems less secure.

simply use chrome browser with its own built in sandboxed flash. the sandboxed flash is their own code and can't see outside of the memory of the browser.
