Cable TV - cant stream to laptop or phone

I have just cable TV. New account, replaced disconnected account under dead father's name at same location. I used to be able to watch on my phone or laptop using home WiFi. Now that old account is disconnected, and new account is all I have, I cant watch in phone or laptop. It tells me:

Let’s get your Adobe Flash Player up and running.

To enjoy a full range of entertainment, enable your Flash Player. It's easy.

Just click on the lock icon in Google Chrome's address bar and select "Allow" in the Flash dropdown.

Are you using the username/password associated with the old account or a new one?

Phone is a Samsung s7 chrome.

It used to work fine until today, though that was another account. Not sure why it is acting up now. I am tired of calling and chatting with Xfinity people. It has been a few hours a day for 5 or 6 days over last few weeks.

"

so I cut and pasted a reply  @Rustyben   gave to someone earlier, in a chat this am and they fixed my streaming of cable tv on phone issue but they say they need to replace our less than 7 day old box with a newer box today. I have my doubts they will fix it as it has been one annoyance after another since December
