Netflix and Xfinity Streaming Apps

I have Netflix through my Comcast Xfinity bundle.  It's not available on the streamling Xfinity app on my Roku TV or other devices.  And I don't have an account number to access Netflix as standalone app.   How do I access Netflix beyond my internet/TV account/phone?    Do I have an Netflix account number through Comcast?

Hey there, mcemiranda, thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums regarding your Netflix account. I know how much my household loves watching Netflix and I definitely want to make sure you can access your account! You would use the Netflix standalone app in order to access your Netflix subscription billed through Xfinity.

 

In order to associate your account with your Xfinity Package, you must open the Netflix app on your X1 TV Box to activate the Netflix service included in your package. If you do not open the app on your X1 TV Box, Netflix has no way of associating an account with your Xfinity package. Once you open Netflix with the X1 you create the Username and Password and you are able to use that for your logging into the Netflix app on any of your favorite streaming devices! 

 

In order to activate your Netflix account you will need to launch the Netflix app on your X1 TV Box, then follow the prompts to either link your existing Netflix account to your Xfinity package or create a new Netflix account to be linked to your Xfinity package. launch netflix on the X1 set top box. go to settings and look at the account 'email' address. go to netflix with this email address and do a forgot password on the 3rd party Netflix app. working?
