Is there really a $200 and $400 gift card offer for existing customers?
I notice all the time that Xfinity offers $200 off or so on phones but it requires a new line and transfer of a number. Right now, the offer is $200 off an iPhone or $400 off a Samsung with new line but reading the details further, it says that you get those same amounts in gift cards if you upgrade as an existing customer. Did I read that correctly? I don't remember ever seeing offers for existing customers so I wanted to make sure that is right.

Yes, it’s true. I upgraded online and XM sent my new iPhone and SIM card several days later. My $200 debit card already shows up in the reward system, and shows that it will be sent as soon as the eligibility period (90 days) is met.

@DaveO3How did you upgrade online? I tried to this morning and it says I'm eligible but I need to visit a Xfinity Mobile store. The closest one is over an hour away from me though.

Here is what I did:
1.) Go to xfinity.com/mobile (and login If necessary)
2.) Select Shop
3.) Select device/storage/color
4.) Select Pay in Full
5.) Select
6.) Select Replace device on existing line
7.) Select which device you are replacing
and so on with your billing and other information.
I am not sure if or when it tells you that you well get the $200 reward card? Do a screen shot of the reward card offer details just to be sure.

It says something about $1000 max per customer and also something about 1 card. Do you know if this will work with two phones if I upgraded an iphone now and a Samsung before their Sept. deadline?

I am hopefully upgrading tomorrow to the samsung A71 5g uw. There is a 200. discount. The rep explained it will come as a discount on my phone monthly, bringing it down to 18.75 a mo. I pay 37. now and really do not need to pay that, which is why I am happy to do this. The ony one thing I am truly not happy about it that xfinity visual VM no longer works after 2019 phones!! REally burns me!

Just out of curiousity, have they run offers like this for existing customers in the past? I don't look here all the time so I could miss them, but it just seems like every time I look at the website, there is always an offer for new lines that port a number. I am just thinking ahead because I don't necessarily need a new phone now so am wondering if they do this every so often.

In the past it was usually in store only if available, without much available. New iPhones are coming late September or early October. Rumor of a new $549 iPhone 12 budget model coming?

Thanks, that is good to know. So it does sound pretty rare. My wife was just going to updgrade because she still has an iphone 6 but it still works fine. She was going to get the 11 for $749 for the 128 model so with $200 off that isn't bad for $549. I don't know, I guess you could always wait for the next phone but gotta pull the plug sometimes.

I have always gotten my gift cards. They are not released until I think 90 days out to insure you keep phone in paid standing. Just got my last one.
