So XM is not yet offering the new Moto E 2020 that was released mid-june 2020.
If I buy this from Best Buy or Amazon unlocked, will it work on the XM?

Yes it probably will but Xfinity isn't going to officially allow it. Meaning you can do a Sim swap but that's it.
