Are these new changes in February going to affect us very much?

My wife and I average using 3-4 GB per month so right away, the $30 per month for 3GB is going to be cheaper.  The biggest difference here sounds like the throttling that may occur.  Is that really going to affect someone like me that much?  We mostly use the phones when connected to wifi but when not, we never stream any videos or data hogs like that.  Mostly just some web browsing and occasionally streaming music.  Is this going to be a big issue for most people?

I share your concern.  This thread does not give me confidence that it will not be noticed....https://forums.xfinity.com/t5/Xfinity-Mobile/Extremely-slow-LTE/td-p/3268403

Read some of the posts regarding Visible at https://www.reddit.com/r/Visible/, the deprioritized speeds of Visible plans can be terrible depending on your location.   We can expect the same with the second generation plans.   Xfinity Mobile and the post-paid priority is what kept me with Xfinity Internet and the Mobile plans.   I'll now reconsider dropping the Internet and going with Visible/Red Pocket for both home Internet and phones now.

Yes for those of us not using much or any cellular data and therefore not incurring the related $144/year, it means a 600% price hike.  Please refer to my separate post on the subject.
