xfinity locking up

in the last 2 days my xfinity will simply lockup, go to black, then display an error message saying it is having trouble connecting to the internet. No recovery is possible. I power everything down and restart. This works for a while then lather, rinse, repeat.

Anyone else experiencing this?

No, not at all. You might want to call Comcast. It could be your set top box. Good luck!

Many many people have experienced this. recently Calling Comcast is pointless, it is a firmware issue. See: https://forums.xfinity.com/t5/X1/RDK-03033-Errors/m-p/3333709
