tv stuck on one channel. How can I fix it?
I have rebooted twice. Did not help. Started this morning w no previous problems. My TV is an Emerson.
I unhooked the cable from back of the TV, also.
Thank you for any help. I'm at wit's end.

Outage? I wouldn't know.
Changed batteries for remote. It does not work at all. No light, nothing.
Your "chat" will not work.
The other thing you asked if I had done - the answer is yes.
__________
It sounds like it could be the remote? There should be lights

There is no way stated to possibly fix my problem with my television.
All the post consists of is someone stating they are a Comcast expert, blah, blah, blah...
How is that supposed to help a customer?

sorry you are having problems. the first fix check is always to reboot the set top box (firmware updates can cause issues only fixed by a reboot). 2nd was the 'remote lights' (LED flashes). if no flashes for volume up/down nor channel up/down the remote or batteries are the issue. (check batteries or replace checking for direction). I see that was done. new remote is available at the xfinity store.
you can verify the set top box is working and temporarily have a remote operation for the set top box functions by using the Xfinity TV remote app. log in, press the microphone button, and be sure the correct TV is selected (touch the TV icon). there are multiple screens that mimic all but the flash back button. did the TV remote app work for you?
