stuck on language scren

I spent way too much of my time for 3 days trying to get my service corected speaking with representatives for hours to no avail.  I was finally told I was going to be charged $70.00 because I had performed an incorrect self install.  The cable was not working before I changed the boxes out. Ok I vented. I was frustrated said no way and was ready to forget cable on that tv. The firestick worked.  I got up the next morning googled my issue read the forums tried a few things then read one that said the code was showing up on the other tv. I checked. Viloa me too. I unhooked that tv tried it again still didnt work. Then read a little more and found that someone said you have to stand right by the box for it to be paierd. I did instant success. OMG. Why didn't one of the reps tell me this???? Thanks forum participants. You saved me $70.00 and a whole lot of further aggravation.  Reps you might want to read your company's forums yourself.
