"Currently Internet content isn't recordable"

Recently getting message "Currently Internet content isn't recordable" when trying to record series of shows. If this message appears I cannot record a series, only a single show. Even though I currently have some series recording, I can't record new ones. How to eliminatre and allow recording of aseries of old and new shows? I see via Google that this problem has been reported many times over the past couple of years and I have not yet seen a solution from Comcast.

The channel you are trying to record from is probably an IP channel and the content isn’t recordable. A few channels have changed to IP over time

No it is not. I have tried it on a number of channels with the same results. THey are not internet channels. Why has this been a problem for so long without a clear solution from Comcast? --Bob
