What is best way to open battery compartment on XR11 remote? getting  mssg batteries are low.

Just got this new remote.  It is very small.  The back has a little ridge. It is very  tight and does not budge when pushed like the larger one.

look for the cover raised ridge in the middle of the back. press down with two or more fingers (hard) and slide.

Omg! What a pain if it's never been opened (seal not broken). I pushed the tab diwn as hard as possible to create a slight opening and took a pocket knife and pushed down on the release button and it popped. Then slid right off. Now that's it's been opened once it's an ease.

turn the remote over. look for a single raised line molded to the sliding battery cover. press down very hard (the first time at least) and slide cover toward bottom of the remote.
