extreme pixelation in the evening

WHY do I lose reception every day from about 4-5 pm until 9-10 pm?
My display is extremely pixelated, the sound is garbled. This is true of all channels, although I can watch shows that are available from a specific service with no problem.  Any shows dvr'd during this period have the same pixelation.
I have checked every single indoor cable connection.  Sometimes resetting the x1 box will work for  a while, I have unplugged the tv, the x cable box, and I've done refresh as well as reset.
Sometimes the Comcst lab shows tht i have "good" reception, sometimes "low". There si actually no correlation.

Weather plays a part as it gets colder at night, schedule an appointment for the last available slot in your market.

It is worst after dark. Pretty sure they don't do service calls after 5 pm.

for what it's worth it's better now as the temps are decreasing.  It was worse  (ie starting at about 3 pm and occaisionally during the noon news broadcast) when our afternoon/evening temps were in the 80's-90's.
Is there some common rpoblem in transmitters that is temperature related?
It ony very rarely rains here in NM, so it doesn't seem to be storm or humidity related.

Check all your connections, remove any unnecessary splitters and possibly get a tech out to troubleshoot further
