error code RDK-03003

Just exchanged my old box for a new one. Replaced cables and restarted box numerous times. keep getting error code RDK-03003

Started having to reset it about weekly, then got the welcome screen with green "snow" and no service. All of our other boxes and tvs worked fine and I could still get tv apps like netflix. Just thought I had a bad box.

That code means not a usable signal or the box can’t read the signal. What was wrong with the previous box?
