Xifinity button

My remote works for everything except when I press the xfinity button it starts a cable box reboot that take 5-10 minutes. Any ideas what the problem is? I have tried with two different TVs thinking it was a tv issue. Paired and reset and repaired the remote multiple times.

Edit: also reboots when I try to access on demand using the voice control
