I have a 2018 TCL TV and an older Onkyo audio receiver. I've tried pairing them with 2 differnet XR15 remotes and 1 XR11. I have done all the remote resets, tried different working codes, consulted xfinity.com/support/remotes, consulted the xfinity iphone app, read all the forums noting the same problem, rebooted the settop box, tried this and tried that, and on and on.
Here's what's specifically happening:
XR15
XR11
As stated earlier, I've seen this problem raised by multiple people in multiple places, with no working solutions posted. I'm hoping someone can tell from the symptoms, what might be going on, and offer some ideas beyond resetting the remote and consulting the various xfinity setup guides and resources. Been there, done those things over and over. Thanks.
One clarification/update: The XR11 remote does turn on both the TV and receiver using the All Power button. But, it will only turn the TV off with the TV power button. The XR15 remote Power button will not turn the TV on or off at all, once the remote is programmed for the receiver.
Just for information:

Thank you for the reply and link. That's probably the best info I've seen on the remotes. However, there's nothing to explain why adding an audio receiver code throws off the remote's functionality for TV power. All the Xfinity information I have seen, states the features and how to program them. Other than remote resets, which I've tried, I've seen nothing about how to fix this issue, which has been raised by many others in the past. Again, I appreciate the help and consideration.
My XR11 remote will not program to control my TV and my Denon receiver together but will work together with my Sony receiver. Looks like a mfg problem.

I have the same issue. The remote will only turn on and off my stereo. I can still change inputs on my tcl tv but it will not turn on or off the tv.
That is no help. I am experiencing the same issue with an XR11 remote that was not present with my previous TV (a Sony). Once I got a new TV, paired the TV and then paired the Receiver - I can no longer use "All Power" to turn off BOTH the TV and the Receiver. Only the Receiver turns off. I can turn the TV on/off using the "TV" button - but that's stupid when I didn't have to do this before with my previous model.
I suspect there is an issue with 1 of the codes being used which doesn't allow the TV/Receive to both co-exist with the "All Power" button any longer. It is either TV or Receiver - but not both. I'll try to open a case with Xfinity support on this - but based on previous experiences, I won't be holding my breath and will likely either get used to having to press 2 different buttons to turn on my TV / Receiver and again use 2 different buttons to turn off my TV / Receiver - or just spend the cash on a good high-end remote that can do it all...frustrating that this was NOT an issue with my previous TV.
