XR11 Voice doesn't work

XR11 Voice doesn't work

Channel and Xfinity buttons work fine. I press the mic and get a red light. It goes to setup, tells me I'm paired, and to press ok to control power, volume, etc. Pressing ok does nothing. I never get to the 3-code screen. I've installed several of these, this is the first time there's been a problem. I spoke to a rep who ran me through all the tests and told me I needed a new remote. Got a new remote, exact same problem. Another rep went through the tests, tells me I need a new remote. No. Batteries are fresh. PLEASE HELP!!!

is that a DVR or a companion? if it is a companion is the model number rng150 ?

I have the  exact same problem. I spent on hour with chat support and they are sending a tech Wednesday. Installing tech told me the same thing about the remote (I'm extremely skeptical this is the solution).  If the tech solves the problem I'll update and let you know.
