XG2v2-P and XID-P Not Working

I can not get the 2 XID-P's to work with the XG2v2-P. I have tried the XG2v2-P in all 3 outlets and it works with no issue. Also all my old equipment worked great. But since getting these  XID-P's I can not get them to work .. I leave them on over night I wake up there will be a frozen picture that is it. The error I get most of the time is " Sorry, Were having some trouble ' or some error about not being able to communicate. I called and worked with person via phone but they told me to leave on over night if it don't work take pair back to store and get a new pair. I have done so .. the one new I still have the same issue the other one I need to take back ask I am not getting nothing at all and seems to have a faulty HDMI port. Very frustrated after years of no issues with old equipment

The X1 boxes work a little different than the old equipment. The XG2 is independent, the Xid’s depend on a clean signal from the XG2 to work. Do you happen to have a cable amplifier in your cable setup? Or describe what you have

Yes I have an amplifier. Do I need to remove it ? Other then that all wiring has been in place years back by comcast

It probably isn’t the right type to pass Moca. Moca is how the boxes communicate, if the Moca can’t pass the XiD won’t work. The amp pictured is one of 2 models to use. Either that or a splitter instead will work (depending on signal levels).

No worries, if it still doesn’t work, we’ll figure it out
