I noticed that on the main X1 menu, the far-left entry has changed from the search icon (magnifying glass) to a notification icon (talk bubble). The Sports entry is now Search.
There is always an element to xfinity roll outs where it's like gathering 20 children in a room and saying, we are giving 5 of you presents now, and to the remaining 15 saying, you'll get your's...... sometime soon. A tad disappointing in terms of customer relations.
The problem is if you roll out a change to everyone at the same time, and there is a problem, you get ALOT of angry people instantly. In software, it's always best to roll out slowly and keep an eye on issues.
I get the slow roll out, but just say it in the notification....as in "we are rolling these exciting changes over the next days to all customers.....".
This might prevent the constant rebooting of systems or concerns that something is "wrong" with a customers system.
Some of us have so little to look forward to that this is a big deal........😉
