That is a great question and thank you for posting. Because of the loud fan in your DVR, it would be best to upgrade at this point. I'd be happy to help you upgrade bu shipping a new DVR. To get started, please send me a private message with your first and last name (and the name of the account holder) and the house number associated with your service address.
