Are we the only people having this problem? It doesn't matter what we are watching, our box will suddenly switch to the Drama channel, sometimes every few minutes. It won't stop until we reboot, which is a pain, especially because we have to reboot once a day anyway.
do you see any 'menu' element (like typing of channel numbers, the 'last' watched line appearing at the bottom)? do you use more than one remote on that set top box? have you tried tuning to the channel you want to watch and removing the batteries from the remote?
Your wasting your time if you think switching the box will fix it. To get relief, you either have to. do a restart or wait for the overnight one. You shouldn't have the problem unless you view (channel) to QVC at some point in the day.
After numerous failed trys by Comcast to fix this ongoing issue finally someone did..they had to completely rewire all our boxes! It worked! Its been 2 months and we havent seen the Hallmark Drama channel so far. Comcast knew nothing about this problem and I was beginning to think they thought I was nuts so I started taking pictures and making videos when it happenen! It took months to get it fixed!
