Why does Xfinity record every Matt McConaughey thing for me?

press the Xfinity button > saved > then go to favorites and scroll down to find the 'favorite' listing that is catching those shows. highlight it and press the 'D' button.

I'm going to add these two guys to it, then delete them.

It sounds like you did a search for Matt McConaughey and pressed record under his picture, recording his movies/tv.  You can redo the search and cancel the recordings.
