Which tv box to get

Hi, I need to exchange one of my tv boxes. It's freezing up all the time  and no signal in the mornings when I turn the tv on.  I have 2 Samsung XG2v2-S boxes.  I don't want to pay extra for a DVR box, so what is the best option?  Should I exchange just straight up, or is there a model that is faster and has more features?  I have looked at the comparison chart and I don't really understand it.  Are the DVR boxes better and would one be compatable with my other XG2 box?  Are the 4k boxes more expensive per month.  Are the Pace models more reliable?  Sorry for all the questions, appreciate any input here.  Thanks!

There’s many to choose from, try an XiD. The dvr’s are $10 more. All boxes are compatible with each other

On the site the XiD is listed under the XG2. Xg1=DVR

Which one is that in the comparison chart?  Is it the XG1 that looks basic?  I tried to insert the link but it didn't work.

Yea, I remember the Cust. Serv. rep told me I could get a dvd box without the dvr.  Is that the first picture or the second on that page?

I apologize, I forgot to get back.  I was mistaken, one box was a Samsung and the one I took back was a Pace.  The only difference is, the Samsung doesn't have an hdmi input.  They only had two options in the store.  A Pace like I had, or a DVR.  There aren't any other choices.  The new box is working fine, it looks slightly newer, otherwise it's the same.  I was hoping to get something a little faster.  These tv boxes act like old computers, they are really sluggish sometimes when selecting apps and settings, or even the guide!  I didn't even know I could records shows without a physical hard drive, up to 20 hours in the cloud.  I seem to find out a year after I get a new box, that it has free fuctions I didn't know about!  Anyway, I appreciate the help, Thanks everyone.
