Volume Issues

This is a new issue for me but I am seeing differing volume levels when playing live TV versus On Demand or DVR recordings and then again differences when watching Netflix through the X1 boxes. If I am watching a DVR recording, the volume is low and I turn up the surround sound and then when the recording ends and it switches back to live TV I get blasted out..

Any ideas?
