Two DVR's Here, But More and More Recorded Shows are Listed as CLOUD DVR?

I've got two xg1-v4's and for the last few days, the programs that are scheduled to be recorded are showing up (when played back) as Cloud DVR.

 

The used capacity of the recorders is about 5% so space isn't an issue.

 

I really hate the way cloud programs look, and the fast foward, pause and rewind are clunky and lousy compared to shows that really end up on my DVR.

 

What is going on?  I don't have Comcast internet service anymore, but I can't imagine that would have anything to do with this problem.

I recorded 20 shows last night on different HD channels at various times, and naturally they all played correctly from my DVR, and not Cloud DVR.

 

I checked the recordings again afew hours later, and they're all wonky and Cloud DVR.  There is something going on with intermittent service.

Definitely sounds like one of the DVRs has a bad hard drive. I'd swap one (the oldest) that has a clock for a new Xg1v4 (no clock 4k capable) and see if your problem for new programs goes away.

Things that are supposed to be recorded on the drive in my house on either one of the two DVR xg1-v4 boxes still show CLOUD DVR when they're playing back.  btw- no clocks on my boxes.

 

What's the point of having an actual hard drive in the box if the program is playing back from the cloud?  The picture quality is inferior, and the ability to fast forward, pause and rewind is much worse with cloud based material.  Also no slo-mo on Cloud stuff.

Received a new xg1-v4 and set it up today.  More to come after overnight obervation.
