Response time between box and remote is ridiculously slow especially on third-party apps. I had Dish Network for 20 years and just moved and never had this kind of difficulty. It's almost like I went back in time. I have restarted the Box I've had a tech out batteries are fresh. So I don't need any basic responses I'm just wondering if this is how this system runs if it is it needs to be fixed because it is horrible. I am really starting to regret my choice.
the dish remote was telling the local device what to do. the Xfinity remote command is sent to the Comcast server and it tells your set top box what to do. To do that, it needs good signal and low noise. Call Comcast and have them do a home signal check outside. if you have splitters/amps made for satellite, they won't be good for the frequencies used by Cable TV. can you detail your wiring/splitters etc?
