Switching accounts // DVR Question

In the near future we will be switching our Xfinity account over to my wife's name in order to stop the incessant monthly increases in the bill we have experienced since our 2yr contract price ran out. 


My question; what happens with the DVR? There are a lot of questions on here about transfering recorded shows, but that isn't my issue. Is there anyway to transfer our scheduled recordings over to the new DVR we get? For example, there are some shows that don't come back until later this year or early next year that we don't have to worry about remembering since they are scheduled on the box. However, if we get a new box, are we going to have to remember when each show starts to go back in and schedule the recordings?


Any help is appreciated.

Since it’s not a transfer and a new account and you’re getting new equipment, new everything you’ll have to start from scratch
