Stuck on welcome screen, new X1 boxes

I'm stuck on welcome...connecting to your entertainment experience for the two new X1 boxes I purchased today. It's been this way for hours. I've rechecked all cables. And reset countless times. The longer this stays out, the less likely I am to renew service.

It says that option is unavailable because my "main" box is offline.
