Sluggish XG1-P

My XG1-P is rather sluggish at the best of times compared to the campanion box in another room, but often gets so bad I have to reboot.

I am wondering if the XG1v4 has more "horsepower".  I don't really care about the 4k, but could I expect a noticeable improvement in the responsiveness of an XG1v4 versus my XG1-P?

Yes, that device you have is the oldest X1 dvr out there. This is also dependent on appropriate signal levels to the either box
