The remote for my main box is very slow. I've refreshed and restarted the system, and replaced the batteries, but nothing helps. Rarely does the voice command function respond. I get the message that something's not right and that voice commands aren't available right now. Also, I find the menus have two many steps when trying to accomplish even the simplist of tasks like deleting a saved program. I don't need to be asked to confirm, and then see a pop up that says my request is being processed, and finally that the program has been deleted. I'm a former Direcxt TV customer and loved the naviagation, menus, favorite lists and other user options. I'm not a happy camper.
Usually slow response is related to having a bad cable signal. You might need to have a tech out or at least call and have them check remotely.
