Problems with recent changes to the guide

If you go to guide, you get a row that you can scroll left/right on, plus multiple rows you can scroll up/down on.

If you click guide twice, go to movies, go down to all 14 days, it now tries to put 7 movies on a row when it used to only do 6.  the 7 is a sliver on the screen.  You can hit enter on it to see what it is, but really not visible and usable.  The screen doesn't scroll to show it like some of the other menus, and before it was only showing 6 per row and never was an issue.

Please fix that.

 

Also...ideally - add some filter options on movies.  Would be nice to have a comercial-free option or something.  Many movies are edited down for TV.   Would like to skip this more often than not.

I click on your name and am directed to a page showing all your posts, etc. No option for private message.  Not sre why my name matters (and I would think you'd be able to see that information as an employee anyhow), just provide instructions if you really think it is something that is editable in the menu.  Wasn't like it before, now both TVs are doing the same thing.

UserJohn, I get where you're coming from. I'd like to troubleshoot from the account to see if we can get it working again, and in order to do that, I'd need you to verify your first and last name in a PM. 🙂

I had my folks duplicate the steps I mentioned above, they have the same issue on their TVs as well.

Someone should look at the code changes vs trying to troubleshoot an issue with me.  Should be really simple for someone at Comcast to fire up a TV and test this with my original instructions on how to duplicate.  Should only show 6 movies per row, you're trying to drop 7 in which doesn't fit.

FYI:  The guide issue was resolved by whatever back-end updates occurred.  Was still a problem a few weeks ago, so don't have specifics, just tested again since had time and was going to call in today and...no need since they found their bug and fixed it.
