Poor technology

Someone please tell me why I must reboot my equipment constantly in order to restore functions like pausing, rewinding or fast forwarding live tv. It happens about once a week and really makes me question the quality of the equipment Comcast uses. I am a fairly new customer and really wonder why it feels as though I the equipment requires me to operate it manually. According to the technicians I was issued new equipment and yet this is how it functions.

If you have to reboot that much, it’s generally not the equipment but the signal levels going to the equipment. It could be the equipment too, there’s no such thing as “new” equipment. It’s new to you but not new
