After 2 years of no problems, lost sound only on channels 5 and 7. Sometimes sound comes on only during commercials. All other channels have no problems with video or sound. Rebooting and system resetting does not solve the problem.

the UI (user interface) can be confusing. hit the Xfinity button on the remote >> gear (settings) >> Device Settings >> Audio >> audio language (SAP) reset and reset. that is the only way to turn off the SAP at the moment.
