No HDMI Input
There is a similar thread that is closed, so I'm starting a new one.
Sometimes when I turn on my LG HDTV, I get the message about no HDMI input when I know that there is a solid connection. Changing to another HDMI input doesn't help. The problem appears to be in the "handshake" between the x1 box and the TV.
As a customer, I don't care if it's a problem on the LG side or the xFinity side...I just want things to work. Obviously, there is a standard that defines the interface, so my first question would be, does the x1 box meet those interface specs? Are there any other brands of TVs that the x1 box has issues with?

There have been a couple of threads here, mostly involving LG and HiSense TVs. I thought one of them was resolved with an update to the LG's firmware.

I may have found the problem, with help from LG Tech Support.
On my LG TV, I looked at Settings > All Settings > General > HDMI Ultra HD Deep Color. The Deep Color feature was turned ON, for the port I am using for cable box input. As I was doing this, the signal was coming and going, but when I switched the feature OFF, the signal became steady ON.
Looks good now, but time will tell.
