No AMAZON PRIME AND ERROR APPS-04036

Can't find any help with error code APPS-04036 and also cannot watch Amazon Prime. I HATE THIS COMPANY!

Having this same issue. I'll be watching something on Prime and the screen will go black and then an error comes up: Error APP-04036 Sorry we're having trouble with this app. It says to reboot the box and if still a problem, try again later. I am on my 2nd new box in a month. Still happening.

Try again later? What kind of service is that, Xfinity?

This happens to us ALL the time!  Usually after watching for a bit.  Probably Comast's way of trying to get you to use their channels.  Anyway - we found that by starting it over, it picks up where it gave that error at.  Good luck!
