New box cannot be reached

Hi we are installing new equipment. 4 boxes. 2 work and 2 do not. I tried to have Comcast sent a signal to refresh but it says the box cannot be reached.
Error rdk 10000
I took one that didn’t work and switched to tv that did work— it works there. Took one from tv that was working and put in the room where it can’t be reached. That box doesn’t work there either. Tried new cables. Have disconnected and reconnected all. I have strong WiFi in that room where it isn’t working. I spent so many hours in this over the weekend. Very frustrated.

you have probably been given a wrong (firmware) set top box that looks like an X1 box. can you check model numbers for your equipment? was cable or satellite the previous coax connected equipment? do you have a fairly modern roku device to use? a chromecast device and a smart phone/tablet?

Have you backtracked through your house and double checked that you have a live cable signal to those rooms. To test hook up your modem in those two rooms. If it doesn’t lock in, it’s not live. If it is live, check for maybe an amplifier in use
