New Xi6-a boxes won’t respond to any remotes

Hi

I had 2 new wireless Xi6-a boxes delivered today.

I powered them both on, got to the language selection screen and NEITHER boxes will respond to the remotes they came with.

What can I do to get them to respond so I can set them up???

Did you see a message that says “remote not working”?

Try pointing the remote directly at the front of the device and also try unpairing the remote as well. Visit xfinity.com/unpair for instructions.


Can you let me know what type of remote you have?

can you scroll up and down but OK button doesn’t work? Or can’t even get the remote to select Spanish

Thank you. Unpairing then seemed to do the trick!!!
