New X1 - no connection

New X1 - no connection

I just upgraded from a DSA box to an X1 box, and the new X1 will not connect (keeps saying tighten connections and try again.  I have the coax running from a splitter, other side of splitter is going to modem and it is working fine.  Even unplugged the modem and connected that coax to the X1 box, and it still says no connection, tighten connections and try again.  Why would the connection be good enough for internet but not get my TV signal?  How do I resolve this?

The moca on the gateway needs to be on if this is your only X1 box

I have 3 X1 boxes, this is the only one having trouble connecting.  I even took the coax straight out of the back of the working modem, and connected it to the box, and it still will not connect.  At this point I am thinking I may need to have a technician come out.

Do you have an amplifier?
