New X1 box

I was directed via onscreen prompt to request a new main cable box and I did that. It has arrived. Before I install it...Does it include DVR capability? Will our existing recordings be transferred to the new box or are they on the cloud? Thanks.

We do have a dvr in the current/old box.

Model# of the new box is: AX013ANC

Since nobody but you knows what the model of the box you received it’s kind of hard to answer the question. If it’s a dvr for dvr, depending on the market only the last 60 hours recorded are accessible (possibly 150 hours) in the cloud

if you have older X1 equipment what is available in the cloud DVR will be viewable on the new set top box, they do not transfer/copy to the new DVR.
