New Episodes view is not good...
Separating Available, Free, & Upcoming into three separate tabs is not good.
Putting episode description on the left, rather than underneath the Episode title, where your eyes already are, is not good.
No more opacity in this view is not good.
Why was any of this even done?

They were two separate threads. They must have combined them. I am deleting my comment right now. But when I wrote it, it was 2 threads.

All I know is if Comcast doesn't do anything about this, when our contract is up we probably won't be sticking with Xfinity. They keep fixing things that don't need to be fixed. Sometimes you gotta go with the old saying, if it isn't broke don't fix it. Some of their new changes are okay but others like this one are totally terrible. This new episode guide is useless to me. The old one was very simple and easy to use and see. But this new one you made it more complicated and harder to see. I'm not talking just size of the letters and words, I'm talking about just the way it is designed, it's harder to see everything, it is harder to find everything. I don't think Comcast is gonna do anything about it. They obviously must be targeting a certain audience, a certain group of people that like this for some reason. I just know I'm not part of that audience. To me the way it was before was perfect, it didn't need to be changed at all, I found what I needed to find, I could read what I needed to read, I could see what I need to see. It didn't need to be changed. They should at least give us the option of turning it back to the old one, like they did, they originally had the option to turn the new one off and change it back the old one. But they took that option away.

I kept an open mind, but after spending a bit of time with this update, I have come to the conclusion that this is the opposite of progress. All of the info spread across the three tabs used to be viewable in one single place. Why did this change? Now if I want to look for and record a future episode of a program, I have to take several additional steps compared to how it was in the simpler, more efficient, and intuitive process that existed previously.
Please undo this unnecessary and needlessly complicating update and revert back to the process that worked so well for so long.

I don’t understand why they never seem to have their customers’ best interests at heart! Especially given the high prices we pay!
I’ve got to find a better option since it’s now abundantly clear Comcast/Xfinity is never going to do right by me/us... I called, I tried, and I wasted 35 minutes for nothing...

Not only that it is poorly designed. Please put the old guide back Comcast!
This new one does not even match the design of the rest of the X1 System. Why?
It appears it was designed in MS Paint.
