Main Cable Box Died

Two days ago I awoke in the morning to find that my X1 Cable Box was completely blank. No time, no power light nothing. It was working fine the day before and suddenly was dead. I thought that maybe there was an outage but my Internet & phone were working fine. I unplugged the box & plugged it back in with no result what-so-ever.  Today I checked on the web site and there were no outages but the system says there is a connection issue with my main box. My Family room box is working fine. I tried the restart procedure twice with no result as well. When I checked further online the system said there was an Error Code 500 and could not connect to my box. I imagine I need to get a replacement for my box. Can someone please help me with this?

the local Xfinity stores are generally open. be sure to swap out both the set top box and its power supply.  They do not want the remote control back. you can call 800-Comcast to set up a tech call where they drop of the equipment on your porch.

Does your working box have the same power supply as the non-working box?
