I am starting to get a better understanding on how Xfinity's DVR works. However, I have realized that our current 20 hour Cloud DVR service isn't going to be adequet for our needs. I want to look into upgrading to the 150 hour dedication DVR and need some information.
What exactly does that entail? I believe a Comcast employee told me via PM that one of the cable boxes would need to be upgraded to a DVR unit with a physical hard drive. I also need info about costs. Will upgrading my DVR increase my monthly bill in any way, and are there any one-time fees associated with such an upgrade?
