I already have a Netflix account for about 10 years. I was able to use the Netflix app on the X1 box. About 6 weeks ago I signed up for the Signature Triple Play (Netflix included) and since then the Netflix app doesn't work anymore. It invites me to create a new Netflix account (with a new email address) and refuses to let me use my current Netflix account. I have a DVD plan on my Netflix account, which I do not want to lose, so I cannot cancel my current Netflix account and sign up for a new one. I called last Sunday (8/18) and somebody from Comcast technical support promised that they can link the X1 box to my current Netflix account and it will take 24 hours. Here I am, 5 days later, no change. I still cannot use the Netflix app.
Anybody else had a similar situation? Can they actually link to the current account or I cannot use Netflix anymore on the X1 box?
