Intermittent video issue

Is there a timeline for getting this "update" issue that is causing the video problems? For about 2 weeks now I've been having these problems and they are getting worse.

On the TV I see white flashes constantly no matter which channels I watch. It will also pixelate in the center of the screen at times. Thanks

based on your detailed description there is low signal/high noise on the coax line to that outlet or perhaps to the home. is it like that on other outlets? can you try the modem/gateway's coax on the set top box to see if the same problem exists? did you check to see if the coax connectors are good and tight?
