I can't get help

....One of my tv cable boxes stopped working, and several phone calls to comcast and they have not been able to get it working.  I went to the comcast store and replaced the box, but still had the same issue.  The low level technical  support was supposed to send an open ticket for advanced technical support but it has been 6 hours and I have heard nothing.  I tried calling but they just keep saying "have a good day" and hang up.  I can't talk to anyone to schedule an appointment.  Help!!!

Well, it turns out that the TV was bad.  I ended up getting a new smart TV with 4K and then comcast sent me a new wireless modem that works with 4K.  Appreciate everyone's help.

It's a small X1 box.  No error codes... get the welcome screen on reboot and then a black screen.  Nothing but the black screen.

I had low level tech support send refressh and reboot signals but still nothing.  Checked all the cables and even brought in another TV, new HDMI cable just to make sure it wasn't a TV issue.  No joy.

did it ever work? is it wireless? if wireless, is the gateway/modem an Xfinity rental xb3/6/7 ?
