HDMI port on AVR died after Xfinity outage

My area had a tv outage. Then Xfinity said my service was back up but I still had no kind of x1 signal so Comcast cares told me they detect a hdmi signal loss. So I switched the hdmi input on the AVR to “DVD “ from “cable/TV” and it worked.
So I’m thinking the outage killed my HDMI input since it’s was the port I had hooked up to the X1. Any thoughts?

Equipment:
Denon AVR 6300
X1 cable box
