Deco Gear Soundbar Pairing with X1

I have a new LG TV the came with a Deco Gear Soundbar. I can easily pair the X15 remote to the TV, but there is no Deco Gear option to select when I try to pair my "other AV equipment" - can it be done? I can't get past the "select your brand" menu.
