Customer-Owned Equipment and the XG2 TV Box

Will my XG2 Set-Top Box work with a NetGear modem/router if I purchase and  return my $14/month rental gateway? I am looking at the C6220 and it is conpatible with my current internet service level, but says nothing regarding my video service.

Yes the XG2 functioning has nothing to do with your internet
