Cloud DVR

We upgraded to a 4K and lost a lot of recordings from the old box. Those that did save went to the Cloud DVR and are unwatchable. For a while they would stop and start, now they won't play at all. What's up with the cloud?

 

Before someone asks, yes I did unplug, wait 30 seconds then plugged back in. I've done that numerous times in the last 10 days I've had the new box. In fact I've done it so many times I haven't even moved the tv back to its place.

 

No, it didn't solve the problem.

do the old recordings play on a smart phone/tablet?

After spending a week trying to get things right with this upgrade of boxes and services, I gave up on the recordings and just deleted those that didn't work.
